CULINARY ADVENTURES IN HONG KONG

For culinary adventurers, Hong Kong is a must. “Asia’s World City” is all about coexisting and blending, combining East and West with traditions and innovations.

Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong is an award-winning dining destination unto itself. The Hotel boasts the world’s first Michelin three-star Chinese restaurant, Lung King Heen, as well as a Michelin two-star French restaurant, Caprice.

Recently appointed as the new Chef de Cuisine of Caprice, Chef Guillaume Galliot is one of the leading faces of contemporary French gastronomy. Galliot brings his globally inspired, expertly executed French cuisine to this breathtaking dining room, renowned for its extensive wine selection, artisanal cheese cellar and thoughtful service.

The Hotel features a signature Extraordinary Experience, called “In the Footsteps of a Dragon”. A maximum of four guests may take this exclusive tour to discover authentic local flavours, guided by Chan Yan Tak, the Michelin-starred executive chef of Lung King Heen. The journey begins behind the scenes in the restaurant’s kitchen, where guests watch the preparation of Cantonese dim sum. Next, travel across Victoria Harbour to explore vibrant Kowloon, where Chef Tak grew up and where he still finds his culinary inspiration. Sample an array of local Cantonese foods along the way. The afternoon culminates back at Lung King Heen with a delicious meal custom-designed by Chef Tak himself.

Four Seasons is conveniently located in the Central district, where the tremendous variety of local food ranges from high-end restaurants to open-air food stalls. In fact, the Hong Kong Tourism Board recently launched a campaign called “Old Central Hong Kong”, highlighting places where tourists can eat like a local, sampling congee (rice porridge), dim sum, milk tea and noodles. All of the restaurants are within easy walking distance of Four Seasons.

ITALIAN SPECIALTIES IN FLORENCE AND MILAN

At our two Four Seasons hotels in Italy, your clients can savour the finest regional specialties created by our Michelin-starred executive chef, Vito Mollica.

Rich in historic beauty, Four Seasons Hotel Firenze is composed of two Renaissance buildings, framing the city’s largest private park. The gastronomic focal point is the Michelin-starred Il Palagio restaurant. Inspired by the slow food movement, Chef Vito creates traditional Italian cuisine, featuring the freshest ingredients from local farms and producers.

If your clients would prefer a residential-style experience of Florence, Four Seasons includes La Villa – a hotel within the hotel, featuring just 37 guest rooms and suites. Intimate and exclusive, it feels like an historic mansion or a small apartment house. In the spirit of a private home, Chef Vito will privately cater meals in La Villa’s Magnolia Lounge, creating a unique family-style dining experience. He can also prepare a special picnic to enjoy outdoors in the private park.

Cuisine is also an important focus at Four Seasons Hotel Milano, our transformed 15th-century convent in the heart of the fashion district. Chef Vito from Florence took over the kitchen of La Veranda restaurant a year ago. The menu features seasonal Mediterranean cuisine, both traditional and innovative. A favourite summer tradition at La Veranda is sipping an aperitivo outdoors in the cloistered garden. Other culinary options include Italian cooking classes and a gorgeous Chef’s Table in the kitchen, seating up to 10 people.

Close to the Duomo cathedral and La Scala opera house, Four Seasons is also steps away from the Brera district – famous for its local boutiques and authentic Milanese food. For the ultimate meal in Milan, Four Seasons has created a cultural package allowing guests to enjoy an exclusive viewing of “The Last Supper”, the masterpiece painting by Leonardo da Vinci.
